I purchased this distributor for a period-correct build with a 400hp 350 Chevy, but my review applies to even stock lower-hp engines. The distributor housing is cast well, and the shaft doesn't have side play. The shaft end play is within tolerance. The cam is centered when spun by hand. The points plate is sturdy enough.
